Roshauna Bostwick has recently been elected to serve as the President of the Berkeley College Alumni Board for 2025-2026. In addition, she will also serve on the Berkeley College Foundation's Board of Directors.

Bostwick graduated from Berkeley College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing Communications and is most well-known for starting the Women’s Empowerment Club at the Midtown campus in 2019.

Three tenets Bostwick aims to enhance through her position as Alumni President are alumni engagement, mentorship, and community. She is an avid believer of “knowing your purpose” or taking the time to learn it if the purpose has not yet revealed itself: “Eventually your purpose is going to find you. Don’t give up, always believe in yourself and persevere. There’s always a way to talk to people – you never know who’s going to come into your life and who’s going to open the next door for you!” she stated.

Prior to this success, Bostwick was a stellar student at Berkeley College, even starting the Women’s Empowerment Club in 2019 with the help of her mentor and now-longtime-friend Randy Gómez, whom Bostwick credits as a major inspiration in her Berkeley College journey.

Gómez echoed similar pride in Bostwick, asserting, "I am incredibly proud of Roshauna Bostwick and her appointment as the Alumni President. Her passion for education, leadership, and giving back to the community is truly inspiring, and I have no doubt she will make a profound impact in this new role. Watching her grow into the exceptional leader she is today has been one of the greatest joys of my mentoring journey."

In addition to working for the New York City Housing Authority, Bostwick runs a nonprofit called Blast Off to help deliver clothes, books, toys, and other goods to underprivileged youth. Bostwick describes herself as always being a “woman on a mission” and as someone who “wants to create spaces where people feel and know that they belong.”

Bostwick’s servant mentality is a key factor in her numerous successes, and she is beyond grateful to be in her current positions. “Five years ago if you sat me in a room and told me this is where I’m going to be, I wouldn’t believe it,” she expressed. “Absolutely not. I’m happy I stayed the course. I’m happy I’m inspiring people. I’m a woman on a mission, so let’s go.”

"The Berkeley College Foundation is very excited to welcome Roshana to the Board. Her passion, enthusiasm, and strong commitment to giving back will bring energy and vision to our mission," shared Ellen Zitis, Executive Director of the Berkeley College Foundation.
