A Message from the Executive Director - Winter-Spring 2025

2025. A quarter century since Y2K. 20 years since the advent of YouTube.

It has been ten years since the Berkeley College Foundation (BCF) was established in 2015, with many accomplishments achieved and many more yet to come. We will celebrate this special milestone with an event in November, so stay tuned for details.

Reflecting on the last quarter of 2024, the BCF hosted its annual Scholarship Reception Awards ceremony in November, honoring nine academically and financially deserving recipients. The students had strong support from their guests, Berkeley College staff, the BCF Board of Directors, and the companies who generously sponsored this event. This inspiring occasion demonstrates so poignantly what the mission of the BCF is all about. The fall season also saw the kickoff of a campus food pantry drive for Berkeley College faculty, staff, and students. The collective power of these donations resulted in 124 bags and packages being donated, totaling 1,417 items! BCF fall fundraisers included a wine tasting event, an annual networking and food drive soirée, and the annual Berkeley College Alumni Holiday Party and Toy Drive, where 60 toys were collected for distribution to a local children’s hospital.

And now to spring forward: The BCF’s 8th Annual Golf Outing takes place at the Basking Ridge Country Club on Monday, June 2, 2025. Registration will be open for this event in late February. All levels of golfers may participate, from beginners to advanced, in this lively event, which is our largest fundraiser. It’s a nice opportunity to get in some exercise, have fun, and socialize while supporting a very worthy cause. Don’t golf? Consider donating an item(s), gift card, tickets, vacation timeshares, etc., for the silent and live auction, which is a great way to support our mission.
