A Message from the Executive Director - Winter-Spring 2024

Well wishes and warm greetings from the Berkeley College Foundation!

Welcome to 2024! Traditionally, with the ushering in of the new year, the Berkeley College Foundation (BCF) reflects on the last quarter of the prior year--and 2023 went out with resounding impact.

The BCF hosted its annual Scholarship Awards reception on November 8, 2023, at the Woodland Park campus. This occasion was especially meaningful as the event included our first ever winter cohort group, honoring a total of fourteen 2023 scholarship recipients. The students in attendance were cheered on by their families, friends, Berkeley College staff, and our generous event sponsors. By all accounts, the evening was engaging and poignant and reflected the true spirit of the BCF’s mission. The following evening, November 9th, the 3rd annual Networking and Food Drive event took place, with proceeds going to the BCF and a multitude of filled-to-the-brim shopping bags going to stock the shelves of our three campus food pantries. Proceeds from the annual Berkeley College Annual Alumni Holiday event, held on December 13th at the Woodland Park campus, went to the BCF and many toys and games were collected for St. Joseph’s Health Children’s Hospital. These events truly represented the spirit of giving.

Witnessing these winter days getting longer is a reminder that spring is around the corner and the BCF’s 7th annual golf outing, our largest fundraiser, is quickly approaching. This year’s event will be held at the Basking Ridge Country Club on Monday, June 3, 2024. Registration will be open for this event in February. All levels of golfers, from beginners to advanced, are encouraged to participate, and join in the sport, fun and camaraderie while supporting a worthy cause. Don’t golf? Consider donating an item(s), gift card, tickets, etc. for the golf outing auction, as it is a great way to support our meaningful cause.
