New/Continuing/Transfer Undergraduate Students
Scholarship Guidelines
Winter 2026 Semester Deadline: Monday, October 27, 2025.
Up to 10 Scholarships Available.
Amount: $1,000 per semester (up to eight semesters or degree completion for a Bachelor's degree, whichever occurs first; up to four semesters or degree completion for an Associates degree, whichever occurs first).
For eligibility, applicants must:
- Apply and be accepted to Berkeley College (any campus or online) for the winter 2026 semester.
- Enroll in a Berkeley College Associate's or Bachelor’s degree program as a full-time student.
- Submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Requirements: In order to continue receiving the Berkeley College Foundation Scholarship, recipients must:
- Maintain full-time continuous enrollment. Recipient may take no more than one (1) semester leave of absence to be considered for eligibility upon readmission.
- Show a financial need based on the outcomes from the FAFSA.
- Must provide 5 volunteer or community service hours per academic year.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 each academic year.
Additional terms:
The scholarship is not available to Berkeley College or Berkeley College Foundation employees or their immediate family members, students on non-immigrant visas, or those receiving full-tuition scholarships from Berkeley College. Eligibility ends upon completion of the first degree program or after eight semesters, whichever comes first. Students pursuing a second degree may reapply. Those participating in an approved study abroad program will remain eligible for the scholarship.
