Scholarship Guidelines for Continuing/Transfer Students
Application Deadline: The Continuing/Transfer Scholarship application deadline is Monday, October 30th, 2023.
Up to 5 Scholarships Available
Amount: $1,000 per semester (up to eight semesters or degree completion for a Bachelor's degree, whichever occurs first; up to four semesters or degree completion for an Associate's degree, which occurs first).
For eligibility, applicants must:
- Apply and be accepted to Berkeley College (any campus or online) for the fall 2023 semester.
- Enroll in a Berkeley College Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program as a full-time student.
- Submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Requirements: In order to continue receiving the Berkeley College Foundation Scholarship, recipients must:
- Maintain full-time continuous enrollment. Recipient may take no more than one (1) semester leave of absence and be considered for eligibility upon readmission.
- Show a financial need based on the outcomes from the FAFSA.
- Must provide 5 volunteer or community service hours per academic year.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 each academic year.
Additional terms:
Berkeley College and Berkeley College Foundation employees and family members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students applying on a non-immigrant visa are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants who are selected to receive full-tuition scholarships from Berkeley College are not eligible to apply. Students who complete their first degree program and choose to enroll in a second degree program may re-apply for the scholarship. Scholarship eligibility ends upon completion of the first degree program or at the end of eight semesters, whichever comes first.
Students who elect to participate in a Study Abroad program while enrolled at Berkeley College will continue to receive the scholarship.
