Berkeley College Foundation MetroCard Subsidy
MetroCard Subsidy Application 2019-2020
Program: The Berkeley College Foundation MetroCard subsidy provides a 25% discount on a 30-day Unlimited MTA MetroCard for eligible New York City students.
Eligibility: You must be a Berkeley College new or continuing student, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more) at the Berkeley College New York City campus (41st or 43rd street).
MetroCard Subsidy recipients must meet the following requirements: Students in the MetroCard Subsidy Program must be enrolled at the New York City (Manhattan) campus. Students may purchase the discounted monthly MetroCard at the beginning of the month. All students will be evaluated for continued eligibility at the end of each semester. Students must maintain continuous enrollment. If a student withdraws from Berkeley College, he or she will lose eligibility. The Berkeley College Foundation and Berkeley College are not responsible for lost or stolen cards and will not provide replacement cards. The value of the subsidy may be taxable, and the determination of taxability and any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the student.
How to Apply: Complete the online application. Please log in with your Berkeley College credentials. If you receive an error when opening an eform in Google Chrome, please copy the url and paste it into a new browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari).
