Berkeley College Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship recipients are chosen based on academic achievement, demonstration of financial need, and the applicant’s future goals and plan to achieve them. Each award is intended to cover a portion of tuition costs. Scholarships are open to incoming high school students and adult/transfer students.

Scholarship Amounts

Associate’s degree students: $4,000 ($1000/semester, not to exceed four semesters)

Bachelor’s degree students: $8,000 ($1000/semester, not to exceed eight semesters)

Selection Process

The Berkeley College Foundation Awards Committee will review all applications and select the scholarship recipients. Berkeley College Foundation (BCF) scholarships will be awarded to a total of eight students: four high school applicants and four adult/transfer applicants. Of those eight students, four bachelor’s degree scholarships and four associate’s degree scholarships will be awarded. (In the event a recipient declines the scholarship, an alternate will be chosen.) Scholarship recipients will be notified via email and phone.

Eligibility Criteria – High School Applicants

Applicants must:

• Apply and be accepted to Berkeley College (any campus) beginning in the Fall 2019 semester

• Enroll in a Berkeley College undergraduate Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program

• Have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Demonstrate financial need by submitting a FAFSA

Note: Berkeley College and Berkeley College Foundation employees and family members are not eligible to apply for the BCF scholarship. Applicants who selected to receive full-tuition scholarships from Berkeley College are not eligible to apply.

Applicants must:

Maintaining the BCF Scholarship

In order to retain and continue receiving the BCF Scholarship, scholarship recipients must:

• Maintain a Berkeley College cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher each award year

• Maintain full-time, continuous enrollment

Inaugural Berkeley College Foundation Leadership Awards and Scholarship Recognition Dinner held on November 1, 2018

On Thursday, November 1, 2018, the Inaugural Berkeley College Foundation Leadership Awards and Scholarship Recognition Dinner was held in the Renaissance Hall Atrium at the Woodland Park Campus of Berkeley College. The event included a cocktail reception and dinner, followed by the presentation of awards and scholarships.
